Casmini, was born in Batang, Indonesia, on October 5, 1971. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Islamic Guidance and Counseling from IAIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta in 1995, followed by a Master’s degree in 2000 and a Doctorate in Psychology from Gadjah Mada University in 2011. Demonstrating unwavering commitment to Islamic education, counseling, and character development, she has built an impressive academic and professional portfolio.

Throughout her career, Casmini has held several strategic roles, including Secretary at Kopertais (2012), Head of Admissions at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta (2012–2016), Vice Dean of Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (2016–2020), and Vice Dean for Administration and Finance at the Faculty of Da’wa and Communication (2020–2024). She is an active BANPT assessor since 2015, as well as a BKD and lecturer certification assessor. Her organizational engagement extends to leadership roles in major Islamic organizations, notably as a member of the Majelis Pendidikan Tinggi, Penelitian dan Pengembangan (DIKTI) Muhammadiyah and the central board of Pimpinan Pusat 'Aisyiyah, where she has contributed to policymaking and the advancement of educational and social programs in Indonesia.

As a certified trainer in Religious Moderation by Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious Affairs since 2021 and facilitator for Hajj and Umrah guidance training since 2017, Casmini has played a significant role in fostering understanding and community well-being. Her scholarly output is prolific, focusing on Islamic counseling, positive counseling for student interventions, character education, the integration of Islamic values in contemporary issues, peer counseling in pesantren, social support for addiction recovery, and self-esteem development for youth. Her dedication and multifaceted leadership have established her as a respected academic and influential force in Indonesia’s educational and religious spheres
