I am pleased to share our recent article, “Fiqh Hybridity in a Pluralistic Society: The Case of the Saprahan Tradition in Pontianak, Indonesia,” in JURIS (Jurnal Ilmiah Syariah), Scopus Q1 Journal. This study aims to expand the scope of Islamic socio-legal studies by illustrating that local traditions function as active sites for the reinterpretation and hybridization of Islamic law, not merely as objects to be accommodated, but as productive partners in dialogue.
