Dr. Thoriq Tri Prabowo is a lecturer at the Department of Library and Information Science of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He also currently serves as the Head of the Master’s Program in History of Islamic Civilization (Sejarah Peradaban Islam) at the Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Library and Information Science from UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and later earned his Ph.D. in Technology-Enhanced Learning and Innovation at the School of Industrial Education and Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand. His research interests include library and information science, information literacy, digital literacy, library-based learning, and technology-enhanced learning and innovation. His work has been published in Library & Information Science Research, Journal of Librarianship and Information Science, Library Management, Education and Information Technologies, among others. In addition to his research and teaching, he actively contributes to the academic community as a peer reviewer for a range of international journals in education-related and library & information science fields, including Education and Information Technologies, Discover Sustainability, Discover Psychology, IFLA Journal, Discover Education, Information Services & Use, Frontiers in Education, Record and Library Journal, Frontiers in Research Metrics and Analytics, and the International Journal of Human–Computer Interaction.
