Poetry's more than just a meter,
More than just "unstressed" and "stressed,"
Poetry's more than just a rhythm,
More than what's called technical.
Inspiration's its biggest part;
Strong passion is required.
Mood at times comes in a second,
Sometimes hard to build.
Poetry's bout love and emotion,
Words as a cure and a weapon.

O Muse, sing in me, tell your story
One that soothes and awakens,   
One that makes up a poetry.
